Round 6 - Knights vs Tigers @ Hunter Stadium

Tigers last win in Newcastle was 2014 not 2010. Dopes.

We've got to win this game surely? Our past 3 games have shown that we're definitely building towards victory and we were very unlucky last week as hard as that was. Brooks, Moses, Teddy, Farah and Woods will have to be stopped in order to nullify the Tigers racking up big points, we do that it'll go a long way in getting the win.

The turning point in the home game last year came when the Knights won a scrum against the feed! I am pretty sure Brooks was disoriented by the similar jerseys and fed the wrong side of the scrum, The Knights score a couple of plays later and game over! If only we could find a reason to wear a strip similar to the opposition every week?:dancing:

I feel like our players will be the ones getting confused if we did that again..
 
a win would be nice, but it really doesn't matter now that it's clear we are not making the 8.
It just matters that individual players and the squad improves a bit each game.
but a win would be pretty sweet of course.
 
We've been building well the past few weeks I feel like if we don't win this weekend were all but screwed for the next few weeks as we will probably get hammered and ruin our confidence..
 
Building? Building what ~ we are in the worst situation we have been in since 2006!

Screwed for 2016 and 2017 is closer to the truth ryan. 2018 may well start to see some light when Brownie can start to really recruit a team of his choice rather than Benny and Stone's rejects.

Can I borrow your crystal ball for a while I might see if I can infuse it with some positive thoughts because what its showing you at the moment is all negative and SUCKS...
 
I AM being positive. Everything is negative and sucks that is why we hold the wooden spoon and look like repeating the dose! That is the position we have been left in after the mighty Bennett and the filthy rich Tinkler left us deep in hock and owned by the NRL. Those of us who have been here decades recognise this.

To rebuild we have to acknowledge where we are at before we can go forward. It is a fact of life the four teams in hock to the NRL are a liability to the League alas.
 
Well I'm off to see the SG Ball side hopefully wrap up the minor premiership with a great win today.
That will be my highlight for the weekend - even if firstgrade win by 50.
