Round 22: Newcastle Knights vs North Queensland Cowboys

[packo]

Jesus Christ. Moga

[slotmachine]

I don't think ponga grounded that

[Redd]

I don't think ponga grounded that

How didn't that get sent to the bunker?

[Levil Kinevil]

That was a lovely conversion from Lino

[slotmachine]

How didn't that get sent to the bunker?

The refs want us to lose apparently. Handing out free tries.

[Beaumont]

How didn't that get sent to the bunker?

Touch judge nodded "try" as soon as it touched a blade of grass.

He clearly grounded it

[krustykraz]

Lino's goal kicking is very valuable

[knightime]

How didn't that get sent to the bunker?

Glad it didn't!

[slotmachine]

He clearly grounded it

Right you are, point of the ball

[Simon Templar]

How didn't that get sent to the bunker?

The point of the ball speared the turf - touchy in perfect position, great call - leave the bunker out of it

[knightime]

You blokes are kidding, Barnett textbook stopping in the line and been called all year.

Lol Moga

No doubt he has, but Bolton made sure Barnett was in front of him the whole time. That was just experience from Bolton to take advantage of it, but video ref should know better with the benefit of the footage.

[slotmachine]

but video ref should know better with the benefit of the footage.

There's no discretion in those calls, it's on Barnett not to push into the line and stop. Doesn't matter if Bolton was never getting there.

[Matty James]

The obstruction rule is an absolute farce. Also the bunker is a waste of money.

Watson, Ponga and Barnett have been great so far. Pearce needs to tweak his 5th tackle options. Moga.. sheesh.

[88Knight4life]

Glad to see Ponga on the right, need more of that.

[slotmachine]

I guess Watson is creating plenty but he has bombed two

[krustykraz]

The stats guys must think Jacob is Dan.
They've got 0 Arm for Jacob.

I've seen them use discretion with other calls, but I agree re Barnett - he should be aware and get back from the line.

[Simon Templar]

Can we put them to the sword - our for and against might benefit

[R_A]

Been reasonably sastisfied with the teams defense aside from Lino’s Boyd like attempt on the tackle for the Morgan try.
