This is it, beat Dragons then win again and go into the finals easier home game and win and play round 2 of semis., lose then it’s out the back door
 
Turn up with the right attitude we win easy, Dragons looked shocking last week there defence is horrid not to mention the 5th attacking options the worst ive seen in teams this year(Just wondering how long Norman will last there lol)
But.....but we do ease up on these sides for some reason this season.
 
Teams that can't make the top 8 generally put in half hearted displays in the last few rounds.
saints are just avoiding injuries and thinking about where they can spend the off season break, now that Bali is closed.
Maybe thinking about spending the off season on the beach at Corrimal will get them angry enough to have a go.
 
This week and next week's results will be determined by if we start well.

If St George and the Gold Coast are in with a sniff of pulling off an upset, then they'll stick with us for the full 80.
But if we get off to a good start and dominate in the first 20-25, chances are they probably roll over like most that can't qualify for the 8 in the closing rounds of the season.
Should be a good opportunity for the boys to flex their muscle and gain a bit of confidence coming into the finals, i think our best footy is played when we are confident.
 
In an interesting plot twist, apparently Saints interim coach Dean Young had an interview yesterday to be Knights assistant coach next year.
 
Would almost prefer Lino/Hoy than Pearce in the squad. I don’t really see the point in dropping someone on form when there isn’t a second tier comp to regain confidence/form.
