Realistically Ross replaces Dennis and Yates or JJ to bench, think it will be JJ because of the way things are going, this is crunch game/time and as long as Pearce and DanS are fit is only change you would make. Dennis in cotton wool, don't deflate him too much, JJ in, unleash the beast or at least the desire to show what he has. Can't believe it will happen any other way.
And remember Parra played well last week, full strength and playing well

I have no doubt that Ross would volunteer to do anything. I remember in one of the opposed sessions that Levi went off for a bit of treatment and the call went out who would fill in at hooker, and Ross was jumping out of his skin to give it a go, but they told him to **** off and got Buhrer to do it.

It would be crazy to put Ross into the forwards - even though he'd jump in and do his best.
 
Hahaha, it almost feels like Brown is conducting an elaborate prank.

Guess he'll start picking his best 17 again in 2019.
 
I reckon Rossy would be good as a pocket rocket off the bench running around the ruck. Whether there's any need for it though is another question, Denniss isn't setting the world on fire enough that he needs to be kept in the side. We'll see if it's successful or not this weekend.
 
Could we see ross to centre sione to bench? browns made it pretty clear thats where he sees sione in the future
 
Still no reason to play Ross on the bench if that is the thinking. A waste of an interchange when you can just replace Denniss completely in the squad. Sione may get a bit of hate here, sometimes from me, but he is better than Denniss.

Could be a good experiment for Ross in future but only when the forward pack can consistently hold its own which this pack cannot do. Brown really needs to utilise a bigger bench instead of having 2 small forwards there. Even if it’s rookie big fellas told to go hard for 10 minutes at a time you had Griffen and Buhrer throughout the year to do all the dirty/cover work.

His use of the bench has been baffling to say the least.

I’ve just bought tickets for old boys day too. I’ve never seen the knights lose (only seen them twice), so hopefully my 100% will stay the same... otherwise it’s a long way to drive to be disappointed
 
If Meaney has a great game I wonder if they'll put it on him to play wing in firstgrade for the rest of the year.
He has really resisted playing any position other than fullback, but if the team needs him, we are paying his wages after all.
I was surprized in the off season that they didn't make him play a bit of wing to see how he'd go.

He did play some wing in one of the trials or training games, but him being injured for so long probably put an end to any chance of him being a contender for that spot.
