Squad Update

Nathan Brown has trimmed his team ahead of Saturday's NRL match against Canterbury-Bankstown at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Pasami Saulo and Nick Meaney have dropped off the bench.

That means both Nathan Ross and Jamie Buhrer are still in the mix to return from injury for the nib Newcastle Knights.

Very keen for the game today. Finally a game thats not at 6pm on a Friday so i can take the family down to watch.
Im expecting some Ponga magic to see us win by 13+.

I know he’s been underwhelming this year but Lamb is a way better option. We need his kicking game.

Would have faired much better against the Roosters IMO a win would have been likel with lambs kicking game.

Also cogger runs sideways and catches and passes doen't take the line on or dig into it much at all.

From what i've seen this year Lamb is no better than Cogger Lamb has looked like a lost sheep so far , nothing on what he was last season

So we have used 25 players this year so far.
Apparently we are only allowed to use 30.
Others who have been named in the top 21 so far - Meaney, Saulo, Pat Mat, Naden.
We have signed JJ Felise and said he is in line to play.
That seems to be the 30.
No room for Jones, Amey, Hughes or Allwood.

Yates and Buhrer are not.
Felise is also getting a start in reserve grade.

I would have preferred to drop Levi and bring Yates in. Buhrer can cover Booker for a spell.
