The odd thing is that Bhana did almost no time at dummy half in the trials.
I'd have thought he would have got a lot if they planed to use him as a utility ahead of Levi.

I think its more that Randall can now play 80 min but if he needs a short break Bhana can give him that and were not carrying another hooker on the bench. Bhana gives us another forward and a part time hooker if needed .
 
That is a big statement and something that should have every player on notice. This club has needed a coach like Brown to put the players and this culture of mediocrity in its place for sometime now and seeing brown step up here to that challenge is exciting to see. Levi must not be putting in at training or he seems Randell as capable of playing around 60 mins so bhana offers the team more value. Seems all the players with man buns got dropped which is a fair call.

Its more meaningful because Brown said it was Levi even though I think he will be very good was not as impressive as Randal. Bhana has played some hooker and would be better on the bench than just a hooker and Mataora was a lot more enthusiastic than Snowden and Stockwell in that trial ....
 
I think half our problem is players like Uate are too busy being gooses and become a little up themselves. Some of the photos he's in he's pulling faces, seems to me some of them stardom has got to them too.
 
I am a big Levi fan, but I saw Randell at Woollies last week and he looks like a strong and fit mofo! I trust the coach on this one, unless Levi starts there is probably no room for him in the 17! I am sure Randell can go 80, bhana on the bench for cover @ hooker and back row! I am sure Levi is in the picture, will be interesting to see!:think:
 
I thought Paea was more impressive than Mataora, but maybe he is rewarding the effort Mataora put in to lose all that weight.

If Toohey's right, Brown's certainly put some blokes on notice... Gotta say, I'm loving the massive change from him. Doing what Bennett and Stone didn't have the balls to do!!!

Mataora over Paea is a puzzler. The rest of them deserved to be dropped.

Shouldn't be anywhere near the 13, even the bench. Absolute plod for the last two years; NSW Cup player at his best.
