Unfortunately it was in a game that will be remembered for how terrbile it was.
 
novocastrian90 what you have never heard of a game changing play or you,ve never heard anyone say that play changed the whole game , or heard a commontator say that tackle lifted the wnole team . I have seen it and heard it many times so not sure what game your watching and you dont think that tackle changed things what might have happened if hayne had caught the ball and took off in brocken play our guys all over the place he had heaps of open space the guy can tear you to pieces but did he get a chance to NO ......thats a game changing play

Sometimes you have to play the game to undrstand that a great defensive play can get everybody jumping out of there skins. Or were you just trying to make sure that 1 big hit does not equal 10 tackles, thanks for clearing that up.

Oh and Daly will sh#@ it in.
 
Ok example . The hit on peter sterling that put him out of that game not only changed the game it changed rugby league of that era . Parramatta had to find a new 1/2 back so quite a lot changed because of that tackle not just the game .The tackle that Gordon Tallis made in the state of origin where he dragged a nswer 30 or 40 meters over the side line when nsw were on the attack, that changed that game. The tackle in the grand final that terry lamb made on Ellery Hanley (AKA the black pearl) which took out the best player on the field and maybe in the world at that time . The tackle that paul gallen was involved in where he got done for stripping ( which he didnt do) that tackle changed that game as nsw were on top till then . Even fatty was saying look at the qlders you could throw a hanky over them and they look tired and they did but they got that penalty and scored and never looked like loosing after that .I know thats not quite the same but it is a tackle that changed the game . Also the clashes between paul harrigon and spud carroll mate they used to get me goin so much id want to run out and have a go again lol.

Edwards has been going well this year but the wont be the Rookie of the year. As long as Manly keep uptheir for they wont go past Daly Cherry Evans
