RIP Paul Green

Kurriboy

Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
Apparently he has died suddenly today.

Condolences to his family.

Really, just a shock and taken way too early.

Way too young...such a sad loss to his family an the rugby league community 😥

Apparently suicide, that makes it worse!
There’s so much help out there now, it’s unbelievable.
Just talk to someone, anyone! Mates want to here from you, good or bad, that’s what mates are for. Even a stranger, people seem to sense who is a good listener, spill it out. Even just getting the weight off your shoulders helps, you’re not on your own, even when you think you are, you aren’t on your own.
Talking helps, it’s the first step.

Given a lot of us are probably male here and also the sort of age groups that can end up struggling with this sort of stuff, I'd like to say that we should also support each other on this forum ... there's always a group here who will listen and look out for you if anyone ever feels really down and suicidal. Just start a thread in the Kingdom! ❤️

This is heart breaking I was really really hoping it wasn’t the case, mens mental health goes so unchecked and the way society has subconsciously trained blokes to be “tough” makes it so much harder for men to reach out.
I struggle with my own mental health battle so this really strikes a chord I just hope his family can heal and recover which would be so hard in the public eye 😢

If you or someone you know is struggling know that the people close in your life would move heaven and earth to help you.

Just read the cause. Just wow, so shocked.

He recently had old boys day at Cronulla so I saw in his last interview. Seemed happy.

You just never know.

Mate at work told me a mate of his killed themselves, he said if only the guy could have seen his kids and wife after, he'd never have done it.

Im not ashamed to say I not too far back went through separation with my wife of 20 years, it was very tough, there were dark thoughts involved, and a member here really helped me through it. We kind of trailed off messages but thats ok, just wanted to say thanks in here and it made a difference.

Blokes are taught to be tough and bottle it up, even from those closest to them. Just suck it up and soldier on, until you cant.

So talk to people, anybody, just talk.

Far too much suicide in Australia.

Take care.

Had a best mate, best man at his wedding, his passing, suicide, was an extreme shock, had no idea, his son rang to tell me, later his wife told me he had struggled for a long time. Hard to understand, good family, he had a successful well paid job, owned his home, life I thought for him was good. You never really know if they don’t confide

Yeah, its a silent cross people bear. You would think Greeny had plenty of contacts to reach out to.

I guess we will never know the truth of it, maybe he was talking and just got too much for him.

Just so sad.

As they say success doesn't mean happiness. My best mate lost his life to the dreaded dog, I pulled him out of the hole until I couldn't any longer. Had his house paid off at 35, brilliant job, man's toys etc but just couldn't shake the fact his wife left for another man. It's not easy but you HAVE to let it out and call somebody.
