Of course he'll want to come back, any pub in Newy he walks into, someone will want to buy him a beer.
Broncos had quite a few injuries to outside backs so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a run.And he still has to get past Gagai, but I think he might make it
Absolutely.![]()

Newcastle Knights table $4 million contract extension for star centre Bradman Best | Code Sports
Newcastle have tabled a monster deal for centre Bradman Best - which could be worth upwards of $4 million - but it appears unlikely to prevent the NSW and Australian centre hitting the open market.
Sport Confidential understands the deal, which was presented some weeks ago, is worth around $820,000 per season with a ratchet clause that could mean it is goes close to $1 million a year.
It comes as the Eels prepare to make Best a massive offer of their own which could make him the highest paid centre in the game.
There was flexibility around the length of the deal the Knights put forward but it is understood to be a four-year agreement would be worth around $4 million. Best is playing his cards close to his chest as November 1 looms and rival clubs circle with big offers for the 25-year-old.
A big performance could mean Best’s asking price takes another hike, much like it did for Dolphins winger Jack Bostock when he scored three tries for the Kangaroos last week.
Parramatta have been prominently linked with Best as they look to infuse their outside backs with some star quality. They could also look at Bostock as well depending on how the Best talks play out.
Maybe POS did lowball him.
But he is sooo injury prone!! Surely that must count for something in negotiations!$820k is expensive but it is his market value in all fairness, he is one of a small handful of outside backs who can change the game in an instant, in big moments and do so all year, year on year.
Curious what the ratchet could relate to other than the cap increase. It's not like he isn't a shooing to play for the Blues and Roos each year. If its a premiership I could probably cop that. Cap would be ****ed but if we win a comp I'm not sure it matters too much
