Also, he is going to earn a minimum of $10.5 million from the guaranteed 8 years contract with us. Goes up to over $13.3 million if he plays the last 2 years that are club options

Thats before you include what he already earnt from Parra….. if he can’t comfortably set up his family and live off that, then an extra $300,000 a year isn’t going to help him

I highly doubt he would kick up a stink in a few years time asking for more money. I think he knows what he signed on for and is more then happy with the security it provides himself and his family

I reckon this year is a prime example of why people sign long term contracts. If this year was the end of his contract he would be getting massive unders going into his next contract.

Luckily it was clear the coaches came up with a pretty good plan for the GF, they obviously knew Greg had no hope of out jumping Mark so they just let him go up hope he tapped it back and the rest were ready to pounce. Worked too, for the most part.

KP talked about envisioning that intercept on SJ’s podcast. He said he knew there be an opportunity because Mark had done that all year, go up and tap it back, so he just needed to put himself in that area and and hope it fell his way

It’s a real shame that that moment doesn’t go down in history as a grand final winning moment.
