POS seems to cast a wide net, just an example but it’s like he throws a net, grabs ten players he believes have good-elite potential knowing not all will live up to it and as long as he get 2-3 than that is fine and to be fair it is.

He grabbed a lot since he toke over and while he gave us Annan… we got others such as D’Arce (he looks real good)

Gotta give him credit for his depth work we were going into 2026 with almost no one at prop now we have Saulo, Hola and Mooney. We lost Linnane and Loza i believe so he goes and grabs Hunter, he brought back Crouch which is really good.

He new we needed a half and five-eighth so he went and grabbed Brown and Sandon

he has made some weird choices like waiting until Melbourne came in for Pahulu instead of going for him 3 months before hand as everyone knew he would leave the Titans but i think getting Mooney is even better imo

I don’t agree with some of his ideas behind recruitment but we are certently not worse of, if anything we are better he got rid of the useless dead wood, their bloated contracts and is prepared to make the hard choices that so many did’nt want to make like haggle Gags and Frizz to lower deals because in a sport with a salary cap every cent counts.

Really? Where, why? I think he has got rid of dead weight. D-saf was not worth the money he was on. Braily feels like a loss, for the right price would have maybe kept him. The rest can go.
 
The Brown deal is what he’ll be judged on.

It’s an overpay, unquestionably, unless the cap goes up a fair bit. He’s made a huge bet that it will.

The other reasonably expensive deals, I know I’m not the only one who’s had an eye on Trey Mooney for years and I’m very happy we got him instead of Pahulu, and I reckon you could feel the consensus shift on Sandon Smith in real time on here after the initial confusion about our interest, as a lot of us on here watched him a lot more closely once the rumour spread we were after him. I think there’s a real chance that it’s going to be regarded as the signing of the season next year.

We haven’t really seen brown outside of Arthur’s coaching. Ryles clearly moved on. He could come here and brain it.

The last World Cup he was great for the kiwis
 
One of my favourite POS signings is Kingston Seve. Not because Seve will definitely be star. I just like the fact that POS, firstly, is great at identifying young talent and secondly isnt afraid to go hard for them.

The Knights havent done that, ever. We've always tried to produce our own and buy middle of the road trash from others to supplement our roster.

The Seve signing is something a big club would do.
