Newcastle Premiers Maitland was knocked out of the main cup in the NSWRL international nines tournment but got into the trophy Q/F but lost to the Liverpool Titans 16-12 .....

Just heard on nbn news that Tahu is rumoured to be heading to Central..doubt it will happen though.

I want to start following the Newcastle comp and I was wondering what the reputations were of each club. Without being biased, could any of you tell me what each clubs reputations are like?

Trained a bit today with Simon Williams, Alai Taufa'ao & i think Adrian Davis! :D

The full draw is up on the local league website, should be a good season. Apparently Cessnock beat Kurri 36-10 in the Charity Shield on the weekend, could be a 4th GF in 5 years for the Nocks.

A few NRL signings this year, Jack Afamasaga is playing for Wests & Tim Winitana is playing for Macquarie.
