They are no chance of making the 8, so if they think that Tyson is gone, not sure that it makes much sense to drop Mam, errors or not.I think it means that Mam is 19 and they think he's made some errors.
You'll never hear the results of the tests. The title of this thread scares me, what with waiting on the Delany duos test results.
I know, if they are negative or first positives. I actually think they should report negatives if they come back for these two, given they reported they were being tested. Otherwise, kinda ruining my joke Billy...You'll never hear the results of the tests.
Apart from the player's union not agreeing to it, you'd never get any reputable medical organisation to agree to do recreational drug tests that were going to be on the front page of the papers. Not ethical at all.I know, if they are negative or first positives. I actually think they should report negatives if they come back for these two, given they reported they were being tested. Hence not announcing they are about to be tested in the first placeApart from the player's union not agreeing to it, you'd never get any reputable medical organisation to agree to do recreational drug tests that were going to be on the front page of the papers. Not ethical at all.
Coming through the juniors, Sasagi was talked up as an impact player to come off the bench. Centres wasn't really discussed until he started training with NRL and they were figuring out where his position is. I don't really see him as a centre. I'd persist with him as a bench forward and see if his defence improves over time.Mapapalangi is the player that everyone on here hyped Simi Sasagi to be. Granted, he's not had a matchup with a quality centre yet, but certainly looks an upgrade on Tuala.
I'd like to see one or two more players blooded this weekend, we can only hope for a decent showing to thank the fans and prevent Cronulla top 2.
Dom Young has proven to be a brilliant buy and only getting better
Tex Hoy has finally begun to deliver on his promise, it's a shame he's off next season to ESL but I'll be keeping a close eye on him as I think he'll carve it up over there.
Despite our shocking inconsistency, and torrid injury toll, there were times this season we actually looked a good footy team, I can't help but wonder what would have played out if Barnett wasn't sent off in round 3 and we beat the Panthers.
I reckon if we can secure one of Gamble, Brooks, Madden or Hastings (Hastings would be #1 pick) we should be able to find our way back into the 8 next season
Don't forget Kirra Dibb she is a big part of the womens team .A few positives for me from this season
First one is seeing us bring in Peter Parr into the director of football role, a role we've needed to bring in for quite some time.
I've liked the look of Krystian Mapapalangi in his first two appearances for us at FG and has shown potential to be a long term centre or possibly move into 6. Hopefully more of the Jersey Flegg guys can kick on into first grade in the next 12 months.
Our women's side have been good so far and happy to see us win more games this season in 2 games than the entire previous season obviously helped with Boyle and Upton joining us along with the signings from the Roosters and Jesse Southwell joining the squad just before the season started.
Unfortunately next year for us doesn't look too promising but hopefully we can get those English guys KPP and Pryce here next year and hopefully can kick on to the NRL like Dom Young has this year
The trouble is that we haven't been that good at identifying first grade talent when they are in the lower grades. There however is a lot of our so called first graders I would be happy to let go. I guess the burning question is why do players put in for State of Origin and why do a decent number of the players we let go perform really well at other clubsIt might not sound like a positive but I think moving forward I think it will be, Letting alot of players that just didn’t cut the mustard in first grade or haven’t shown enough in cup will open up spots for those waiting in the wings for their opportunity.
Add Tayla Predebon to that list as well - true impact and tempo lifter off the benchDon't forget Kirra Dibb she is a big part of the womens team .
That pass she got away was sweet as well as her go forward .Add Tayla Predebon to that list as well - true impact and tempo lifter off the bench
