Peter Parr

I think he’s a good halfback playing behind the worst forward pack in the NRL. I think he’d make us a better team. You can just disagree, and feel free to propose a better, gettable alternate target if you like. Probably better for discussion than just dropping a big turd onto your keyboard and hitting send.

Will Zammit hang around with Parr here?
Another good question. Turns out Zammit didn’t leave the Cowboys, they didn’t offer him another contract. Though by this point Parr was shoved upstairs and away from football operations so might not of even had a say in that matter.

I'd rather stick with a fully fit Clune, hastings hasn't been all that much better than him.

Hastings is a leader and has a voice that players will respect. Clune is quite and is not a leader at all. Who are you more likely to listen to? Hastings who has played 60 NRL games and around 100 games in England leading both Wigan and Salford to the Grand Final, although he didn’t win. OR are you going to listen to Clune, a 28 year old reserve grader who has played 20 NRL games?
I know which one I would like to lead the team around the park…

Good to have a leader with a voice, but they are still at the bottom off the table....

Let's sign hastings because he has a voice and is a leader, but unfortunately he isn't very skillful.

Anyway...whatever happens happens, I don't think we need to be desperate and just pick up anyone.

He’s absolutely better than 2021 Pearce. I think it’s clear by now that we miss Pearce’s competitiveness and leadership, but we don’t miss the physically cooked guy who still played the exact same way he did when he was in his physical prime. Hastings does a way better job of creating space for others, Pearce’s instinct was always to look for his own step or killer pass. Don’t pretend that didn’t drive you insane now he’s gone and the grass is greener on the other side.

Manly finished 15th in 2018, I guess that means Daly Cherry-Evans sucks too.
