I have made a farewell banner for 3 people, but... it has come to my attention that as soon as I made this banner, James Mcmanus got injured!

The only thing that may need work on is the Text, doing the text with the same colour as the picture isn't really a good idea purely because you can't really see it. Like these two above. :razz:

What program are you using mate?

For sigs, have them going across ways like mine, 430x130 pixels is a pretty good size.

Yeah, they look much more effective if they are sideways, yours like more like Avatars but that's just my opinion. Good work though GG10. :)

Good work GG10, would like to see a bit more different styles of text and maybe not taking to much colour away from the actual picture. For example: The Adam Macdougall signature looks too dull and you can barely see the picture or text, try working on that buddy and you'll improve quite easily. :D

Well It is quite hard because i have just transferred program from Photoshop back to GIMP because the trial ran out.
 
Hey Guys Its Been a while since I have been into graphics and such, but I have finally found a program I can work with, picnik.com so this is my newest graphic. Feedback please.

Picnik is a really good 'free' program, love the sig mate, looking good :) rep

For it to be a proper sig you need it going across ways like mine, so maybe next time make the dimensions say 440 x 130 pixels? :)

I don't mind the text, maybe it could be a bit smaller, same with the border. But just keep at it mate, your improving.
 
Don't worry, I can see it now. Good work GG10, your improving. Possibly have it going more across ways. Looks much more affective, plus maybe bring the border down a touch. Borders look better if they are smaller. :)

Better use of effects, just have it going more across ways and a smaller border and it will look instantly better. I suggest to follow some tutorials, you will get so much better. :)
