Personally I think it's a good side and the selectors should go with fans choice for once

more or less a good side. hayne to the wing since he wont be dropped. good to see paterson, de gois and uate with mentions from the public.

i felt we picked a good side for the all stars game, since this game is dead, id give it a go here.
 
Not the team i would have picked but still pretty good. Just a few changes id make. Hayne for Dugan and weyman for Mannah or Tolman. Does that mean Uate is eligible to play?
 
Sounds like an alright idea. But the downer is that half of NSW hate Gidley, for the life of me I don't know. So it would ruin his chances.

Apparently Dugan who is 20 is too young for Origin but Idris (19) is not
 
Players id drop, Hayne, Weyman, Creagh and Leroyd Lars.

Bring in coote (i think he is a rung above Dugan at this point in his career)

Snowden (can hold the ball a bit better than weyman, NSW had next to no possession on wednesday, a huge factor in the result)

Gallen didnt do much, but when u look at the stats from this year, LUke Douglas, Snowden and Gallen are 3 of the top 5 front/2nd rowers run/tackle wise.

Monaghan shoulda been replaced by Merrit or the other Morris brother
 
i'd drop hayne and monaghan for a start. bring gids to starting fullback and put in either josh morris, michael jennings, nathan merritt or michael gordon for monaghan.

To young? who cares aslong as hes in form he should be picked! Id be happy with Coote though. IMO after game 1 and 2 Hayne should NOT be picked and i dont think gids is suited to fullback at rep level, hes best suited for as a utility.
 
I think Gidley even tho everyone on here sees it as insult, is the best option for NSW at 14. Can play FB, Halves, Hooker, u could slot him to lock if u absolutely had to, prob even into the centres. Cronk on the other hand is pretty much either a half or a dummy half, not as effective as a guy like Gidley.

Like someone on the footy show or one of them shows sed the other day, he is a victim of his own versatility. Its not an insult to be on the bench, but more of a promotion as being the teams utility, the guy who can play well anywhere on the field
 
was dris picked for game 2? no...just like every other player under 21 (for arguements sake) to play for NSW in teh past 5 years.

He can play in the halves, he may not play a sensational game there, but he can play there. But you put Hayne at 14, he's useless unless gidley ets injured at fb, and even then, Hayne only plays well wen defenders stand there watching him shimmy by
 
Gidley is an 80 minute player, heck he's a 160 minute player! Having him off the bench is a waste. He was one of the only players in game 2 putting his body on the line.
