I agree that he should be resigned, and I can appreciate the fact there is some hyperbole being used but this is how our cap situation became so dire previously. Every time a local junior strung together 5-6 good games the fans would scream bloody murder for them to be resigned no matter the cost. I'd like us to resign Fitz, but there's no reason to offer ridiculous money for a guy who will more than likely come off the bench next year.

Haha doubt it but could happen.

His proved to be as good or better then Barnett and Sione.
Though with Buhrer, Guerra, Lillyman coming we have some big game players to fit in the side.
 
I asked Fitzy if the Knights had re-signed him yet after the game and he said it wouldn't be far away.

Just get him signed up already. He is getting more expensive with every gam he plays at the moment. Season over now so hopefully can get the deal done.
 
You misread 88. For mine Fitzy is a moral to be in the starting 13 even with these guys arriving. For mine consider starting six may well come from Safaiti x 2, Ese'ese, Lillyman, King, Guerra, Buhrer, Fitzy, Levi and the rest bench or reggies.

Like you, no place in the pigs for Sione. He will have to drop weight, do a lot of speed training pre-season and into an outside back position.
 
Id love to see Sione back to center and Fitzgibbon take siones spot.

If you can squeeze him in can't see a problem as the Roosters have shown big defensive centres are nearly the same as a second rower. Thinking about it , Takarangi at Para started in the 2nd row and has been quite successful in the positional shift, probably a few more out there as well.

For mine Buhrer's no certainty to be in front of Sione and/or Barnett.

Yeah but mate, don't you know Bennett said his awesome and all that so we have to rework the entire 17 to suite Sione even though his worse then any of the starters in the position he plays.

Said it a million times to slow and small with no handling skills to speak of.

Not to mention a ridiculous amount of head knocks, if he continues getting his bell rung for his own well being really needs to consider if league is for him at all. With his bravery which I commend I can see him getting plenty more trips to Disneyland next year.
