Official: Joe Wardle released by the Knights

[88Knight4life]

Like to leave players in strongest, best suited positions, Ross and SKD wing, Moga and new signing (Pete?), don't weaken one spot to strengthen another.

SKD has played over 100 nrl games at centre and a fair amount for NZ as well.

I was surprised SKD didn't come to the club and push Gags to the wing personally.

Your not weakening that position having him there.

So he moves to centre so is it Sione (not likely) or Elliott to wing.
Can see us signing a centre of quality but not a winger.

[Joel]

A new signing would be good. Young Peachy is not happy at the Panthers. That would be nice but just a pipe dream.

Exact type of player we need, Wardle on steroids.

[Kurriboy]

Elliot goes alright on the wing. Has the size and can motor. I wouldnt waste any money on a winger.

We're pretty good for wingers. Ross, Chanel, Sio, Elliott, Meaney etc is heaps... We need a right centre.

Ill say it again, SKD.

Would love to see another quality centre on the books though.

And what about injuries?

[Defender1]

That said, I don't mind Chanel as a centre

Jacob Gagai
Jacob Gagan
Pete Mata'utia hopefully!
Sione
Elliot hopefully gets another yr as well

[Frank McWilliams]

If Pete wants 2 years give it to him, now have Wardles money to pay him, cost us nothing with a bit of spare change.

I think we can all agree that pete is a much better centre option then Wardle was.
So ill say it again,
Give him 2yrs

Jacob Gagai can't even make reserve grade. Gagan is apparently heading back to the Sharks. Pete may not be here and nothings been said about Elliott.

Well i cant pull a name out of thin air, atm thats the options.

Im sure a few names will get thrown around between now and January though.

Wouldn't mind going after a fringe winger with a bit of speed. We have quite a bit of size and power on our edges next year but not a lot of pace imo
