Off contract options

Panthers missing Peter Wallace, Maloney, Cleary, Dylan Edwards (their entire first choice spine), Mansour, RCG, McKendry, Peachy.

Half their team out and they win by 30.

Winning culture and self belief mate, something we are probably 2 or 3 successful seasons of having.

See Travis Waddell birthday listing, still playing up in Qld, could be a fill in hooker, 1yr contract cover us until Griff makes it back, experienced, could do worse

Josh Morris, another centre that was never coming here is going to the Sharks on a two year deal

He would be good for depth.
But he is leaving the Tigers because they cant give him a regular first grade spot. I dont think we should guarentee him a starting spot & he wouldnt come for a depth position.

Lolohea could thrive in the ESL actually I think, I think the pressure on him was just too much. Over there like many overhyped kiwi players he wont feel that and just play his natural game.

Just been having a geez at some Super League off contract players, there’s not a great deal that jump out at you but there’s a few that wouldn’t hurt to show an interest in:

Ryan Hall (wing)
Sam Moa (prop)
Daniel Mortimer (halves, hooker)
Shannon Wakeman (prop)
Brayden Williame (centre, wing)

That would be a no to all of them.......

I’d still take Hall for a year or two for sure but no longer then 2 years so I highly doubt he would move over for anything less then 3 years especially with the dollar being so sh*t now.

I would love to get more time to watch ESL either live or delayed later but I'd be interested to know how much Mortimer has developed. Not saying Im interested but if for example someone like him was showing he could be a capable backup half that gets the odd bench game or something while in reserves I think the team would be open to possibilities. Of course money could be the determining factor as well, but I doubt hed ever be on serious coin.

Wasn't Sam Moa old when he went over there.
