Off contract options

Yeah, there's no other player running around like JT. No way would a club take a gamble on someone at the beginning of their career to that degree.

I hope he comes here, and that he can develop into a player as dominant as JT, but the thought of offering a monster deal like that reeks of reckless desperation.
 
Didn't mean immediately, just thought he may be looking at something like that down the track. He's attack wasn't anything special, I expect that'll come but when he joined a tackle there was no post contact meterage happening.
 
You’d wanna see what he is like when the team is under pressure not when he is on the field running up dropout restarts every 3 minutes while his side is dominating field position and possession.
 
Don't know he's contract situation but Hastings may be worth a shot. Considering Cogs is going and every other half is struggling.

He has not got on with his team mates at the Roosters and Manly, we don’t want disharmony between our players.

Plus I’d rather give that other bloke we signed as a utility half a crack if he’s ready, can’t remember his name off the top of my head
 
Think we should look to getting the right type with potential and develop the likes of Johns or look at the halves in U20's who have played last and this season so if any good should be close to ready by years end.
Let's not forget that Lamb has potential.
 
Hazard won't make 1st's, from what I've seen. He's more of a utility. Got my doubts about Johns also. Lamb really is the only one with potential but struggling with the structure.
 
Such a shame Pythian got sacked he could have been good cover for a number of positions.

I have a little feeling he might end up back at the club though, no one else is going to really go after him although Storm were rumoured to be interested. Clubs have sacked players before and then re-signed them before if they've sorted themselves out, I'm pretty sure the Roosters sacked Jake Friend before re-signing him.
 
They would take into account the toll his injury has on his mental health, but I'm still thinking it's a long shot

Ive only seen him play once and in a loss but he was our standout player and a handful when he had the ball impressed me his defence was pretty good too ...If we needed someone i would give him a go he is a pocket rocket from what i saw ...
 
Got to go for the Morris boys if you ask me, off contract and getting no love anywhere, reckon we'd get them for a steal on a 3 year deal each.

Rumour is Ross wants out to Tigers, Moga's no guarantee too make it back, so that's one side of the field covered, with Ramien and Sio on the other side. Pretty inexpensive but safe backline that has a decent attack in it.
