Herman needs a big game.
He was pretty crappy in the forwards two games ago and not much better in the centres last game.
He has a lot of good qualities, but he also does some ordinary things at times.
Some of those SG Ball boys will be eyeing off his jersey about now, and they will be available from next week.

The Warriors were bigger and stronger than our side.
They had maybe 5 players we couldn't stop from offloading.
The Warriors were as developed as seniors physically, and it showed why guys like Redman, Knight, Sullivan and even many of the forwards aren't ready to play with the big boys.
It was embarressing to see four defenders hardly even slowing them down before they offloaded to another guy who would make another 20 with defenders hanging all over him.

We matched them in skill level, but it was boys v men.

On the plus side, I think we are one step closer to seeing Rod and Rob Mason (the twins) as our NYC props.
(am i the only one who thinks that will be really funny?)

Caught the second half of the game. Defence... well there was lack of. Ireland wasn't very good at the back.

They're missing Roberts.

What a let down, as is the case every season... start well and have high hopes and then cant keep a side together.

I don't think the SG Ball players will make a difference.
They are kids who mostly go to school and train as part timers, and it was obvious that the Warriors players are full time footballers who train like firstgraders.
I think a few of them might step up and train like they should be training for NYC, but most should take the rest of the year off to finish their HSC.
