[Billy]

I was surprized those 2 missed out on the SOO squad.
The other 1 who should have made a rep side is Noah Ryan IMO, but maybe there is a better 5/8 getting around.

Pasifika Overcome NSW Under 16s

The Pasifika Under 16s have followed on from a dominant start in defeating the NSW Under 16s 34-16 at Belmore Sports Ground.

A heated pre-game war cry set up what was at times a fiery affair, but the Pasifika side was too strong from the first whistle to secure their big win.

It was all Pasifika in the opening third, with three consecutive tries giving them a handy 16-0 lead off the back of a physical style and multiple offloads. Cameron Brown and Vaileli Tonga both crossed for the Pacific Nations side, setting up a lead which NSW would struggle to overcome.

With time to re-evaluate their game at the first break, NSW applied the pressure on their opposition, but were unable to get on the scoreboard. Another Pasifika try shortly after the resumption, this time to Setuti Iakopo, made the task an even more difficult one for the Scott Jones coached side.

It was going to take individual brilliance if NSW were to force their way back into the game, and it soon came via utility Jack Williams. The No.11, who has been likened to Tyrone Peachey, showed great footwork to pass multiple defenders in a 50-metre effort, converted for a 22-6 score line.

Everything needed to go the way of NSW if they were to continue their fightback and when a short pass for a charging Henry O'Kane was ruled forward, they missed an opportunity. Soon after another chance went begging when Tyrell Sloan opted against running himself to the try line, but an offload allowed Kade Dykes to cross soon after.

At 22-10, the comeback remained in the sights of NSW, but when James Uesele passed Sloan and Kodi Crowther, Pasifika moved further ahead yet again. The boys in sky blue, however, weren't done with yet, with Dykes setting up Blake Hoskings to score under the posts.

Two more Pasifika tries finished up their dominant victory, which ended with a 34-16 final score.
