Mulherin has bulked up a lot since Ball and looks our best forward.
A first grade off season might be enough to put him in the mix for firstgrade

Went to the game, home now, had dinner, disappointed in result, we were outplayed. Missed Gambles badly, thought Henderson was ordinary. Most dangerous was DeCourcey, played strong, he is always busy and looks for work, Schiller was another that looked the goods. Jones was carrying an injury, didn’t start the game but had moments, must have wanted to play in what turned out to be last game. Pity that injuries in 1sts meant our fwd depth was weakened. Glad I went but was sad trip home as I thought we were a good chance..
