I’d say Hagan is better than Arthur right now and Graham, you’d have to keep Smith in the 6 for injury cover but yeah I’d say Hagan would be a great 14 to come on at hooker.

Hagan is the best hooker to come through our system since Starling, and the best thing is he must thrive on training because he improved a thousand percent during the firstgrade pre-season this year.
That would point to him having the potential to make more progress next year.
Some guys don't improve or even go backwards when they have to train like a professional athlete, and some guys thrive when training hard.
Hagan thrived this year.

I feel like we are not accustomed to having genuine depth, let alone in key positions.
It seems inevitable that some players we let go in the coming years are going to go on to have decent NRL careers.
Just hard to pick the trajectory and potential.
Perhaps we need a time capsule thread to document the club position and what other options there were available, when players were let go.

In my opinion we should look at Harry Grant’s development for Hagan, because i think he has the potential to be at that level.
Grant got a taste of first grade, and then got sent back to Reggie’s to develop his game until he couldn’t be denied any longer. Graham on a 2 year deal I think is perfect for this. Hagan shouldn’t be looking at regular first grade until 2028.
