Gags has always been skinny. If macca is putting 10kgs on I don't want it on as muscle mass but purely body mass.

People forget how fast McCarthy came through.
He started in Ball in 2023 and honestly looked pretty ordinary for most of the ball season, but got a run in Flegg and just kept improving, and by the end of 2023 he had a handful of reserve grade games.
In 2024 he started in Flegg and by the end of the year he debuted in firstgrade, and had a blinder. I was really worried he'd have a shocker and that would be the end of him, but he had his best game ever.
2025 he only got a handful of firstgrade games.
He's 22, and I just looked and he has 53 reserve grade and 6 firstgrade games.
He came through as fast as Nonu seems to be developing.
Talking of Nonu - 2 more good games of Flegg and I'd put him in reserve grade. In fact, if I were naming the sides, he would have played reserve grade this week.

That’s all the cup I’m going to watch as I wanna catch the NRL game but so far I’d say, Winter has been really good, grabbed a really talented catch and pass try assist and made a try saving tackle.
POS might have to rethink Votano and his contract as he has gone up levels since the start of the season and is now showing his potential that he has coming through the grades.
Jones has been playing really well against an aggressive forward pack.
De Coursey showing great potential as a winger, he is so strong and hard to handle out there. If the rumours are true he wants to be a centre then that’s crazy considering what he could be as a winger.

Youngest guy on the field, Toby Winter, led most of the stats - most run metres with 175, most line breaks with 2, most try assists with 2, most fantasy points with 66 (equal with Francis).
Brodie Jones was second highest tackle count and tackled at 97% efficency (7% higher than the next best) - 65 fantasy points.

Makes sense, I only watched the first half but Winter looked really good, I saw he also made around 50 PCM, he is going to be such a great player
