Depends if players like Sharpe, Sua, Myers, Martin, Sutton and even Pryce (very unlikely) are used in Flegg or reserves. What does our cup team look like RD 1?
I'm surprised Sua was allowed to play. I suppose his suspension only counts for an official game - round 1 for instance. Our young forwards were outstanding in the cup trial against Parra yesterday. Su'a did a lot of strong carries to set a very good platform. Bryan was a stand out defended strongly and ran some nice lines to break the defence. His stats would be impressive - he's very fast. They played around the same minutes and worked well together. Sutton was strong in the halves - kicked a nice 40/20 and controlled the game well. Keen to watch them all progress through to first grade.
There is no fullback named in Flegg and Armstrong has not been named in NSW Cup, which seems strange based on his trial form.NSW Squad for Round 1. Plenty fill in, closer to game day. In red is who will prob be named. Think Sua might take Cartwrightspot, or of Carty plays then he he might play 13.

Gonna guess Jeremy Trappett is the Flegg fullback. He did do the NRL pre season earlier on as a train/trialist.There is no fullback named in Flegg and Armstrong has not been named in NSW Cup, which seems strange based on his trial form.
Only surmising but there are several scenarios:
- Armstrong to be play fullback in Cup and Sharpe dropped back to Flegg
- Armstrong to come into Cup to replace an outside back who will be 18th/19th man in first grade
- Armstrong is close to accepting an offer from ESL and terminating his contract here. My gut feel tells me something is brewing by the addition of Sharpe to a NRL contract and the upgrade of Moceidreke to a Development contract. Armstrong covers both these positions and club has positioned itself for his pending release.
I have no idea about Herring, but Pryce put in some brilliant kicks to the ingoal in the trials, and Sharpe loves getting in a race for those. What’s herrings kicking game like? He could print money if he can put it on the spot for both our monster wingers.
He’s named at centre in SG BallGonna guess Jeremy Trappett is the Flegg fullback. He did do the NRL pre season earlier on as a train/trialist.
Just seen that on the team lists. Didn't realise he was that young. He’s named at centre in SG Ball
One thing I do know, he's a left footed kicker from seeing a couple of highlights of him. What’s herrings kicking game like? He could print money if he can put it on the spot for both our monster wingers.
