On Taulelei-Siala: she was solid but how many of those tries did she do anything other than catch the ball and put it down under little pressure? I don't remember her actually creating an opportunity through her own athleticism or even having a particularly difficult finish. She looks like she could potentially be a good yardage player and can hit hard in defence, think that part of her game was more impressive than the try scoring tally.

Tyla Brown also isn't signed to the top squad so it might be a moot point anyway but if they could get her in on that wing I think we might be better off overall. We critically lack athleticism and her raw speed is the single biggest attacking threat we had in either grade this year.
 
Like most teams we have to pay the actual market value for a rep player, not $50-100k less then given automatic rep positions and tv contracts to sweeten the slightly less contract

And at moment we apparently have our top 24 already set so would need to move a player or 2 on from contracts to make the spots and they most likely low $$ positions anyway
And whilst Caitlain could be good to come back, I know she had her child in 2025 but she would have to rip into training next yearas she was nowhere near the player she previously was and our whole issue was players seemingly not fit enough and mobile enough this year in the forwards

Predeborn tries super hard and has her moments but Davison, Romanuik etc were all poor and our younger girls who debuted seemed to be better this year

She is but she hasn’t played much footy at all in the past few years. She did her ACL, then the baby and given how much time she spend up here, I’d say she was never really happy down there. Hopefully being back home she’ll be happier, get fitter and get back to near her best.

Yeah our other middle needs to be in much better shape, simple as that. Not many off contract but Georgia Hale is available apparently, I’d be doing some creative accounting to get her and CJ in the side.

Wests are a pretty big organisation, surely there’s some “jobs” some of the girls can do.

They’ve been happy to make up positions for KPs parents at the Knights and I’m sure plenty of others.

Even at the Knights, just make them “community ambassadors” or something. Surely they can get CJ a role working with the Indigenous community

Yasmine’s managed to get herself some a media gig with 7s World Cup coverage and I think she does ok with other endorsements and deals

We still need Charley to stay,I think we already have 4 or 5 players on development deals also

A few players that could try to move on, but nobody really that other teams will be banging down the doors to sign either
