NRLW Finals Week 1 - Broncos vs Knights - 4:05pm Saturday 19th of September - Totally Workwear Stadium

Very. As far as I'm aware the girls really don't like him. Every club his been to he has been an issue. He has his favourites. Seriously dropping pasikala was the cherry for me. He was a mediocre footballer himself, they did themself a mischief letting Ronnie walk.
I knew Tamika and the Southwells definitely disliked him. I thought once they left the rest seemed onboard with him but if they don’t then I don’t get the re-signing given the results

They started the season well and looked improved. Yes Yas is a massive loss but this has been almost a total capitulation since then

There does seem to be some good young players coming through but the recruitment under Jeffries has sucked besides Taylor

I thought Romaniuk had her best year last year. Dunno what happened this year. Maybe she just does the job in a good team but isn't one to lift the team herself.

That has to be the last straw. Every time he pulls one of these random selection rockets we see a poor effort in the next game with players tentative, not competing, out of sync. That reeks of a lack of trust. The players don’t understand what gets them dropped. They don’t agree with the decisions the coach is making.

I think they lift for Yas, not him.

This season SUCKED.

We’re well off the pace and need to recruit some more talent in the forwards.
In the country v city under 19s game this year the forwards from the Knights named were;

Country
Emily McArthur
Stella Lewis
Summer Dowell
Charlise Thompson
Rubie Drake-Brockman

City
Lacey Cross

All of them played Tarsha Gale and Reserve grade this year and Emily McArthur and Stella Lewis have played firstgrade.

Emily McArthur, Stella Lewis and Lacey Cross played for NSW under 19s and are signed for next year

All of them were 17 or 18 at the start of the season and most are still 18.

Most of that group will be starting in the forward pack in the reserve grade grandfinal next week.
