NRLW 2026

What's happened to Nakia Davis welsh. Everytime I've watched her play I've though gee why isn't she playing regular firsts? Runs hard and is quite skillful aswell.

Davis-Welsh is unavailable (believe it was a head knock). Think she would've been on the bench ahead of Karpani based on how they were named in the trial.

Pleasantly surprised that Vette-Welsh has been left out all together, thought they might've just dug the heels in to attempt to justify the dumb 3-year deal they gave her. She looked liked she'd gotten even slower in the trial. Not a huge White believer either but she's younger and there's at least more upside there.

Everything else is pretty much chalk. Parker started on the wing in the trial but switched with Taylor at points throughout the game. Hopefully Taylor hits the ground running like Willison did. Taulelei-Siala gets the nod ahead Robins-Reti. Not fussed on the numbers in the halves, Dibb will be on the right and Roche on the left. No surprises in the forwards or bench.

Parker hasn’t been superb at centre defensively for past couple seasons, she lacks the agility but has great footy IQ. Will be a good mentor for Sidney who if she the defence steady is going to be very strong with her running game.

Think Bo’s days at FB are done but she could be a handy centre/6. Lovely person but not the type of player we should have signed long term. White isn’t winning games individually but I like he’s backed her. Lucy Spain is looking good at FB in Cup.

Stoked for Siala coming back from an injury, she looks strong in trial

Pasikala looked great in trial and will be a superb sub with Yeo. Sharks will be tough but Dibbs kicking game will help immensely.

Yeah I think my ranking is the same. Can’t see Roosters being beaten, and I’m hoping the Wahs can make it to the GF

I think we’ll finish about 6th too, wouldn’t be surprised if the Eels sneak into the finals this year, they’ve got a very good forward pack.

Hope you’re right about Jeffries, not sure who would be the best replacement though?

Hoping they sign a fullback for next season, and get CJ back.

Warriors the team to beat this year.
I haven't followed closely, but I think Ron has been able to attract some very good recruits from Brisbane and Union and he already had a very solid squad - and the NZ fans will get right behind them.
Minor and Major premiers IMO.

Wouldn’t that be nice. It is disheartening to think of another season where Broncos and Roosters are grand final favourites before a ball is kicked. If @Billy’s prediction is correct, it breathes a bit more interest into the 2026 NRLW season.

Jesus Christ only round 1. Great comp they’ve got going.

Only saw a bit of it but the Cowboys were atrocious. 10mins in and they let Brigginshaw practically walk over for a try

John Strange seriously needs to stfu. How on earth is *****ing when he essentially has the NSW team. The Bronx won 50-4 yesterday, the scorlines would be even worse with 6 Agains. Thankfully everyone in the comments could see the problem with it but doesn’t men PVL wouldn’t be stupid enough to introduce it IMG_4564.jpeg

Wests Tigers have bought some good experienced players to go with their young squad and they said in commentary that they are now coached by former Knights assistant and ESL coach Craig Sandercock.
I think he'd be the only NRLW coach who has ever been an NRL assistant at multiple clubs and an ESL head coach - and the Wests team look like they have improved a lot.

Warriors started like they thought they just had to show up to win.
Didn't really click into gear till Albert Jones went on in the second half and started playing her tough, no nonsense style.
