NRL Round 7 - Bulldogs V Knights - 2:00pm Sunday 21st April - Accor Stadium Sydney

We have tried 3 half combos so far .. Are we going back to the first option of Hastings and Gamble? Or perhaps trying a 4th Half in Pryce?

If we lose it’s all on the Saifiti’s regardless of how they play. Particularly harsh on Jacob because he’s had a good year so far.

Should be a good game. If a dry track then should be a good open game. Happy for Dogs. They aren’t my most hated team and we’ve all been at the bottom. Containing Kina the goal obviously and there backline is strong once they get a roll on.

Biggest focus is middles improving immensely and controlling ruck and flow of game. Halves need to dominate the game.

Essentially he just has a bruise and no risk of structural damage from playing.
It's just a matter of how much pain he is in.

The risk is if he cops a hit in the same spot....but yes pain management is the bigger issue here.

I watched on YouTube "The Magic Sponge" It's the NRL physio podcast. He said Ponga's injury is a hip pointer (a bruise) and usually most players recover and play the next week. He mentioned the 10-day turn-around, so he's confident Ponga will be available. Worst case, it's a pain management thing, and he may require another needle before the game.
