Have to say I've been going to Knights games for years in the AJ stand, can't say i've seen an actual fight in the crowd before. Probably bank on that not being the norm.

My son and I have been Knights members from early 2000s.
After spending 60 minutes watching everything that could go wrong in a game of football, we said “enough” and walked out.
Everything that has been said on here is true and we do have a lot of injuries, particularly in the forwards, but we repeatedly shot ourselves in the foot today.
Let’s be honest though, the Tigers are a much better team this year than last and their forward pack dominated today.
We are all prepared to give Sharpe time, but when you drop so much football and have to defend like we did today, our good players don’t get good ball and are playing flustered.
With injuries and lack of connection, nothing runs smooth, but is only magnified when you can’t hold the ball.
Initially I felt ashamed of myself for leaving early and deserting out team, but at the moment it is just too difficult to watch them playing so poorly. We had enough of it today.

That’s exactly how I see him as well. I was hoping he could be a Billy Pedan-style lock, but he is being monstered in every run and doesn’t have the speed to get out of trouble. He tries his guts out but….

Yeah back in Pedan’s day he probably would have made it, but not in 2025.

Same & I have been there since our first game . The herald challenge cup in 1988. The 87 premiers Manly .. . Would love to see the same commitment from todays players . Beyond disappointed
 
Interestingly AOB was asked about Hastings in the presser and told the guys that his wife is in labour which is why he wasn't there today.

Wonder if had that not been the case would he have been picked over Crossland?

Just saw a video of the aftermath. Was sitting near this bloke during Cup and he was already starting to carry on.
 
I’d say we were sh*t, but that would be an insult to sh*t.

Absolute woeful display. 25K loyal fans showed up - even took my daughter to her first game - pristine conditions for footy and they almost get held to nil for the second week running on home soil. This season is shaping up to be worse than 2022.

Literally the only thing that was entertaining about the game was the post-match haka for Tyrone. No wonder we have the best defence in the comp, we’re getting enough practice as we’re too busy dropping the ball to even bother “attacking”.

Certain individuals need to pull their heads in after the last couple of weeks. Marzhew needs a tube of super glue, Crossland too busy whinging at others than taking accountability for his own errors, KP off being a magician with his disappearing act, McEwen isn’t ready for regular first grade, Gagai and Sharpe played their worst games yet.

Our best player yesterday is leaving the club for the Dogs, KPP not far behind and he’s about to test the open market. Worrying signs and I can see us shaking hands at the bottom with Parra very soon and maybe even take their spot in the doldrums.

You weren't the only one. Haha. Most of us were leaving after that try from the dropped ball. I got two young kids and it's a mission enough keeping them entertained at the game so Dad can just chill and watch the game and have $11 Canadian Club.

I didn't stick to end of game, but i also didn't hear fans booing them at end of game, which I was mildly disappointed as they kind of deserved it. 25,000 fans don't deserve that "effort". I made a point in early season predictions, if we're to compete this yr as I believe they can, than they have to win majority of home games.

I'm in same boat, you can say injury toll is an issue but genuinely i haven't seen poor ball control like this since 2022.
I a positive, thankfully our defence is holding up as in past 3 weeks, we've only leaked 4 or so tries with the amount of possession opposition teams have had. But levy will break soon if they don't fix this immediately.

It's usually a mental thing ball handling, Obi said in presser he thinks team is gitterish in attack and making them nervous with ball in hand, all well and good hearing that but that should be taken care of during week at training and then implemented by senior players during game. That just isn't happening right now.
That also is in play as we don't have a good half to help direct. Please be back soon Gamble.

Gamble wouldn't have made a scrap of difference yesterday . Clutching at straws if you think he will be our saviour
 
We miss Jsaf, Lucus and Elliot. To a lesser extent Hethington. And I’m not going to say we missed Cogger but Crossland had an average game. He just needed to get the ball to Ponga, but often went away from him. Have no clue why.

Tyrone isnt up to nrl pace just yet imo, i kept a close eye on him and he was genuinely gassed inside the first 10 minutes (subbed off after 15) and i thought the tempo of the game in the early exchanges was below average from both teams, theres an nrl player there but at this stage id only be carrying him on the bench when we have a full pack available and look to use him 10-15 minutes either side of halftime.

Good idea to for Tyrone to know the level he needs to be up too, he'll be better for the run, I wouldn't mind him having another 2 weeks than back to reggies were hopefully from experience he can monster them and grow in confidence.
