NRL Round 6 - Knights V Tigers - McDonald Jones Stadium - 4:05pm Sunday 13th April

Gamble does nothing for our current problems other than bringing energy.

He has the worst discipline/handling (and often worst defence) of all of our 7 options and routinely is a big contributor to our terrible shape, has a better boot than Cogger/Hastings but worse than Crossland.

He likely will have an indifferent impact overall but Gamble is not the solution to our problems right now.

If you don't think gamble makes us better from our current position I don't know what to say

Memories around here are extremely short, the gaps between his best and worst days are massive, hence being a journeyman.

He was basically the sole defensive problem on our edge last year before being dropped. Expecting a notoriously ill-disciplined journeyman to come in and fix our current discipline problems is a recipe for disaster.

I don't even dislike him, but objectively the negative parts of his game would be a nightmare right now.

The best thing about all this is we about to be 0-3 today, on home ground against a team that last year had like 8 of 9 times win the wooden spoon.
Whilst we have had 1 team only winning games in the last 4 weeks and that out Harold Matts u15 team

The whole club has gone backwards, is it O’Sullivan or peter Parr or just the players aren’t that good that we have

It was just a total non-sequitir. If “did they win the comp” is the way you measure it then everyone except Penrith sucks.
Well you play both sides of the ball, imo our norm for the past few year (not excluding moments or runs) has to be pushed back defensively and not been in the face of the offence, and in attack we play one out sending our attackers to get smashed. You dont agree with that and i have no energy for you. We need to defend like the dogs of last week and actually attack rather than allow a 1 out slaughter. But hey if i dont agree with you its wrong

I'll put my house on gamble making us a much better side regardless of he's flaws
That this team has tons off anyways
