After a resounding reality check against the Titans, the Knights have the bye in Round 4 and then we travel to Homebush to play the Bulldogs in Round 5.

We will again by without Leo, KPP and Lucas and still no return date has been set for Gamble. So our team will most likely be very similar to the one that played last night.

The Bulldogs have both Burton and Kikau out indefinitely with knee injuries, Tuala is out to Round 8 with a foot injury, but Kiraz is due to return in Round 4 from a hip injury. So we are lucky to be playing the dogs while they are under strength.

We have a 50% win rate at Accor and a 45% win rate against the dogs. The big question is which Knights team will get off the bus?

I think after the Titans game, and AOB being critical of the team not playing more straight, going too much side to side, I think this is going to be a slugfest of grind between the two teams.

This one is going to come down to possession, icing the chances we do get and the 50/50 calls.

Either side can win.
 
The Dogs look very beatable at the moment, but we’ll have to go in with a very different attitude than we did on Saturday.
 
Having re-watched the Titans game, I'm willing to just ignore that game completely in consideration of how we should play and change.

Ponga was out of sorts to the point I think he was ill. Just near zero involvement in most sets even in good ball. That left it up to Sharpe who is a dynamic ball runner but needs more time to become a ball player, and kicker. Or Cogger, who touched the ball more than any other player against the Titans, and first receiver a whole heap of times.

I think Ponga will be recovered from whatever he had this game, and we will see him take more control of the game. Back to Ponga receiving the ball at 1st receiver much more and sizing up the options before linking with Cogger or Sharpe, or taking his chances himself.

I think the main issue in that game was not having Ponga in the game for the most part, we tried to play like we did have him, and it didn't work. OB would have known Ponga not right leading in to the game and game plan was to play straighter through Cogger but it wasn't working, and didn't work all game. Cogger needs to be nicknamed Straightener*

Anyway, this game we should be back to more like ourselves.
 
Here's hoping last week was the worst performance we put in all year..... However I don't see us winning against the dogs away from home.
