It’s right about the players clocking off once the ball goes past them. Not just yesterday either. They’ve always been like this. As soon as the ball goes past them in attack or defence they stop moving. It’s part of the reason their support play sucks as well.

For whatever reason they play with very little intensity and simply aren’t as engaged in the game as most other teams. They definitely don’t compete on every play like the top teams do.

They just don’t seem be as motivated as most players. I can understand them not being motivated under AOB who would be, but the poor attitude also precedes him as well. It seems to be so deeply ingrained it’s hard to imagine anything else.

Whoever the next coach is needs to address this first and foremost. Find out what it is they will actually motivate them to perform at a high level week in, week out.

Maybe pay Chridtian Welch to have a go at them every week in the media. Spite works pretty well for the Raiders
Not play completely boring footy for starters might motivate them.

We won't be a competitive team until attitude changes at the club.....we are a very lazy team, players don't do the basics, stop when the ball goes past them etc etc..... it's not a coaching issues, it's a deep rooted cultural problem.

Not get themselves into position to allow shape moves in attack. Basically hanging the halves out to dry. We did it all these things most of the year, and have been guilty of it a lot in past years.

It’s definitely both.
We don’t need a mate for coach.
AOB was soft and weak.
We need a Bellamy or Macguire someone with a spine and drill Sargent attitude.
Feed them cement for the off season.

Probably a great idea given he is in the rear view mirror.
Wish him all the best and move on.
Agree, wish him the best for whatever he does.
Can’t change the past but we can change the future.
Let’s hope the new coach will revive the passion for the jumper, reinvent the ethos of the club. Everyone needs to be on the same page going forward.
Recruitment needs 3 votes to pass especially when we spend a huge chunk of the cap on one player. Pass the pub test first.
