Yeah

We did lose a lot of games, and some like that Titans game at home where we crapped the bed were terrible efforts

But in reality up till that Warriors game thatwe again should have closed out there was always effort and that why till then we had conceded the 2nd least points

We know we couldn’t score in a brothel all year but defence wise we were putting in

After that warriors game that’s when we have conceded 216 points in 5 games compared to 356 in the previous 18 games

I reckon that Shows that we have been ordinary all year no doubt but it’s only been a major defensive issue last few weeks

Still think the titans and their squad have been the major disappointment but if they jag a win and we know that Knights won’t then the spoon will still sit with us

That's it, its like he's not interested in making back to back efforts to build a set of plays, taking advantage of momentum etc. And 2022 seemed like the year (given his age and pedigree) that it would all finally come together and stay together. But it was the year he kinda threw the cue in the rack after arriving at the horizon his coaches had assured him he was destined for

He reminds me a little of Jake Clifford in that some playmakers just dont have the aptitude for back to back ad lib plays. They fire a shot and need time to reload. Which isnt commentary on the quality of their decision making/execution. But once you realise they simply arent capable of maintaining the quality of decisions with an increase in the frequency of those decisions, it answers the question of why they dont do it. Because the player doesnt think they're capable of it, clearly.

Laziness couldn't possibly be the explanation.

In any event, if there was a single key attribute to play 1st receiver well, that'd be it imo, an aptitude for back to back high quality decisions on the fly.
