Broncos training at Maitland Thursday arvo and Payne Hass going to his old teams stomping ground of Pradbury Park at Woodberry either Thursday arvo or Friday arvo this week
If anybody wants to add some laxatives to the Broncos water supply on those days might be handy for our chances on the weekend
I am sure AOB has picked the team to get as far away from the chance of the wooden spoon as possible, therefore denying any other young guys a chance to play.1. Connor Votano 2. Dominic Young 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Jakob Arthur 7. Jack Cogger 8. Jacob Saifiti 9. Phoenix Crossland 10. Leo Thompson 11. Jermaine McEwen 12. Kai Pearce-Paul 13. Tyson Frizell
Interchange: 14. Jayden Brailey 15. Mathew Croker 16. Thomas Cant 17. Elijah Salesa Leaumoana
Reserves: 18. Francis Manuleleua 19. James Schiller 20. Matthew Arthur 21. Fletcher Hunt 22. Lachlan Crouch
I’ve defended AOB all season but he might have broken me now
Marz, Cogger, Brailey, Leo all still in squad
Good he named some young guys on extended like Manuleleua and crouch but know they ain’t playing and the fact there isn’t even another Half on the bench is almost him thumbing his nose at the fans as Cogger been terrible all year, last week maybe his worst and does this so 100% guarantee that he isn’t getting dropped for last 3 rounds
Broncos by 30+ unfortunately
I will believe it when I see it.Manuleleia hasn't been named in the extended squad all year so suddenly being 18th man seems significant. Might just be giving him a test run of preparing for an NRL game as they've done with some young players in the past but also wouldn't shock me if he's playing.
Need nrl quality players to replace them with and want your best chance of winning regardless. In saying that i thought hastings would of come in for cogger, he injured? Usually would carry a half on the extended bench. It makes you wonder how bad you have to be to get dropped
He Cant win really it seems, you dont want him to pick a team to avoid the spoon and use it to blood players who arent nrl standard?I am sure AOB has picked the team to get as far away from the chance of the wooden spoon as possible, therefore denying any other young guys a chance to play.
Again, it is about his neck, not the young ones coming through getting an opportunity.
But unfortunately nobody is surprised!
Might head up and try and get an autograph….Broncos training at Maitland Thursday arvo and Payne Hass going to his old teams stomping ground of Pradbury Park at Woodberry either Thursday arvo or Friday arvo this week

The NYC was fantastic for this.Don’t like the draw for each grade this week or any week actually.
Old Boys Day, special occasion playing in front of past players but not seen by NSW Cup side or Flegg who play on Sunday 2.30pm and 12.30pm in Sydney while main game is 2pm at home.
Haven’t gone into it too much but I think it would be very rare for all three games to be played at the same ground and quite often for Cup game to be played elsewhere.
It can also be detrimental to a side if injury occurs on the day prior to kickoff, no backup or alternatively player sitting out Cup match in case required.
I understand the draw with interstate not playing Cup but it just irks me.
Don’t go to games anymore, TV at home but used to go and get the three grades.
Just me having a whinge without giving it to much thought sorry to bore you all![]()
Finished up before covid in 2017, seems to have had a few reasons to why the comp was shut downThe NYC was fantastic for this.
The U20's played the same schedule as first grade. They played before first grade at home games and some games were on Fox.
It was awesome for the development of young players.
It ended because of Covid.
They need to bring it back.
