Just to add to my expert "Crossland literally does nothing as a halfback" analysis, he ended up with 26 fantasy points. Cogger got 16 in 14 minutes.

AOB can harp on about enthusiasm etc but you need a halfback who does something with the ball in the NRL.

I really enjoy this forum, particularly examples of gross understatement such as this. It puts a smile on my face when the hopelessness of our play seems to be the gift that keeps giving.

Speaking sincerely I think club culture is driven largely by the attitude of the fan base. Our passion and loyalty is great for the club in many ways but 'unconditional' support produces exclusively poor outcomes in professional and competitive environments.

If the fans refuse to tolerate mediocre outcomes the club will be forced to remedy it. As it stands, we're keeping the coach, have no CEO and no plan to fundamentally improve the squad into next season and beyond. These things should be intolerable to the fan base. And while we tolerate these things they will persist. I guarantee it.

I agree with most of this, but O’Sullivan has been brought on board to do something about our out of shape cap. I am hopeful that some good will come of that.

My team assuming out injured, JSaf, Tuala, Best and adding Ponga as something is definitely wrong.
1 Sharpe, 2 Jenkins, 3 Gagai, 4 Lucas, 5 Marzhew, 6 Gamble, 7 Cogger, 8 DSaf, 9 Crosslands, 10 Thompson,
11 Frizell, 12 KPP, 13 Elliott, 14 Brailey, 15 Croker, 16 Jones B, 17 Hetherington/Su’a
If Ponga is ok then Sharpe to wing and Jenkins to Cup, Hetherington and Su’a I don’t like in same side.
Think Cogger is best option at 7, not a good option but best

Yeah - I'm sure he looks good in the lower grades but it just doesn't translate into first grade standard in all the games I've seen of him in the NRL...He might still be a late bloomer (turning 22 this year) and do what many of the 'old' juniors did and graduated through at the under 23's level... But I don't see him getting many offers for an NRL career n what I've seen, when he is given the opportunity.

I get the sense that much of it is between the ears and he seems to get too much into his own head when he gets promoted....he just seems to struggle with the pressure to perform when he has been asked to step up to first grade and has never shown any glimpses to me that he can break through that barrier

That was actually a very solid whack to the cheek and jaw that he copped from Yeo. the slo mo from behind the in goal showed that he didn't miss

Isaah Yeo was also charged with a Careless High Tackle for an incident involving Knights halfback Phoenix Crossland and has been fined $1000.

I finally caught a replay. Surprisingly we did well in the yardage battle against the best defensive side in the comp.
Our average set distance was 47.12m.
The thing that really killed us was the silly penalties out of yardage.
