Disappointing loss to say the least. Truly devastating. When you turn the ball over 3 times and get none in return, there's no way you're going to win the game, especially when the opposing team turns those 3 turnovers into 21 points.

I still feel that the Steelers are the better team and I think that's what makes this loss so hard, but hats off to the Packers. They were the better team today hands down and made the plays they needed to make to win the game. Unfortunately for me and the hundreds of thousands of Steelers fans out there, the Steelers just didn't bring their A game today.

Hoisting the Lombardi trophy for the third time in six years would've been epic, but the football Gods obviously had other plans and it wasn't meant to be. Either way, congrats to the World Champion Green Bay Packers.

Turn the ball over 3 times will never win a regular season game let alone a championship game for world champion!!!!

The Steelers did well to come back from 21-3 down in the first half to make a game of it ....

great win by the packers!! What stuffed it up for the Steelers was the attempted field goal. The game was going in their favour up untill that point. They should have just went for the punt :brickwall:

Feel my pain brother. Only that happens in every game.

Being a 49ers fan, I couldn't even imagine. My heart goes out to you.

Fingers crossed the CBA will be done by then.

I'm thinking there's a very good possibility that there's going to be no 2011 season unfortunately. Hopefully I'm wrong.

ATM at best a 9 game regular is most likely on the cards if they can get it sorted by end of April, but NFL & players union are getting ready for a full season lockout.... This was on the cards 12 months ago & it has moved much since!!!!

As the NFL owner-imposed lockout looms over the 2011 season, the NFL risks losing fans that follow the sport at all-time high levels of popularity. Players of the NFL have said publicly that they just want to play football next season and beyond. The economic impact a lockout would have across America is undeniable.

If you haven't seen this clip, have a look at it .... Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco asks NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about the CBA negotiations and the chances that there will be a lockout.

Pretty pumped for the draft. Was looking forward to getting something for Kolb but I guess we have to wait till next years draft. Jimmy Smith or DE will be our pick unless we trade back then we grab Dowling or Brown.

Jimmy Smith's got major red flags about his character. There's no denying his potential though. Big risk/reward in drafting him.

I'm predicting Cameron Heyward to the Steelers at #31.

Thats the thing do you go for some that can be a star or do you go for the safer option. I can see the eagles trading out of the first nabbing and early 2nd and 4th then trading couple picks for a late third and having a field day on day 2.

Remember as well every team owners are treating the current status as a lock out & won't do current player trades or buy in to the free agent market over the draft .... This is there way of getting back at judge Nelsons order on Tuesday to lift the lock out & to get back at the former players union .... They will only trade draft spots, with teams like Miami trading there first round pick to move back into the second round & even Carolina trading there number one pick down ..... Plus team owners may take action against Von Miller for puting his name with current players in the unions court action against the owners/NFL (by not picking him at all in the draft) ..... I cant see Cam Newton being the number one pick, imo he is a mid to low first round or may be a high second round pick .... Patrick Peterson imo is the best play within this years draft ..... Just hoping the Dolphins can getting into the second round or use there number 15 pick to get Ryan Mallett QB or Mark Ingram RB ....

U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson said the NFL had fallen short in proving a stay was warranted and dismissed its argument that it is facing irreparable harm because of her decision to end the 45-day lockout. After Nelson's ruling, the NFL appealed to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis.
The NFL filed its brief overnight, seeking three things, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported. The league asked the court to overturn Nelson's ruling on the union's decertification; it asked for a stay of the injunction; and it asked for a temporary stay until the court considers the longer stay request. It would require only one of the three judges on the appeals panel to grant the temporary stay.

If only I had money on that.

Very happy with Heyward at #31. Good pick IMO.

Predicted their 3rd round pick too, CB Curtis Brown from Texas. Great selection IMO. Is without doubt a 2nd round talent and we picked him up late 3rd. Great value.

Their 2nd round selection threw me a bit, OT Marcus Gilbert from Florida. Didn't see that one coming. Not the biggest fan of that pick but I'm trusting the Steelers on this one. Big body with good feet and played every position along the OL at Florida apart from C. Hopefully he can develop into a solid starter.

Holding out for a good day 3 from the Steelers.

The winner out of this draft was in my mind the Detriot Lions, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals ........ Really like Farley added the D-line with Suh .... IMO they will be the best pass rushing team in the NFL!! They still need a good corner, strong & free safety when free agent market opens....

The Bengals showd there hand drafting WR's & the most under rated QB in this years draft in Andy Dalton (the reason why TCU are moving to the Big East) ....

Hate to say this but the Panthers in 12 months time will be picking at number one again .... unless they can get a classy veteran QB where Jimmy Clausen & Cam Newton can learn off in the study room...... Newton imo will join Tim Couch, Jamarcus Russell in the worst number one picks!!!!

How are the cowboys going in the draft??

They didn't go too bad, not the best but the not the worst .... Jerry Jones best draft for a long time, with adding Tyron Smith OT & Bruce Carter LB .... But still has major issues in "D" .... But they did pick up the worst third round in DeMarco Murray RB a lot better players what was still on the board!!!

Ok thanks. Imo they need another QB. Not a fan of Romo. He chokes to much in big games

Lol .... thats what Packer fans once said about Rodgers until last super bowl in Dallas ..... But he is there franchise player & unlikely to cut him because John Kitna had a shocker after Romo went down last season, plus Stephen McGee is untested but showd some class touch in the couple of games he has played & in ATO's and camps!!!
