I don't mind a bit of biff after some pushing and shoving, but he just got up and whacked Conn, and all this rubbish of people saying rugby league has gone soft, bullcrap, this is rugby league not friggin boxing if I wanted to watch two blokes punch the crap out of each over I'd watch some boxing!

Canberra prop Michael Weyman has copped a six-match NRL ban after pleading to guilty to two counts of striking, including punching Gold Coast's Daniel Conn.

Weyman was handed a grade four striking charge by the match review committee for punching Conn in the 67th minute of Saturday's 32-12 loss to the Titans.

He was also charged with a grade one offence for a 55th minute incident in which his forearm made contact with the head of Titans centre Luke O'Dwyer.

Yea I think that was pretty fair, considering White got four the other week.

Must suck to be Fa'ologo getting 8 weeks last year for the same thing.

Wonder whether Canberra are going to throw him another contract seen as though is off contract this year.
