Heres a tip, before jumping off the cliff like the mental lemming you appear to be, engage brain!

If you read back at the time SKD got in to trouble, I was still supporting signing him, especially when it came out to be just possession of a small quantity, and that he himself volunteered himself for a hair sample test to prove he doesn't take anything.

Further to this, I don't recall ever saying anything SKD has done now or in the past is a "Huge Downfall"! Please go find where I have ever said this and quote it for me.

Now, to clarify for each of your brain cells, I stated that I did not think Matt Lodge, with his off field issues would be a player Brown wanted at the club since in the past he has indicated he was very selective on the types of person he wanted here. Additionally, I recall Wests also saying something along the lines of signing players of good character (I might be paraphrasing but that is my recollection), there has also been mention of not signing players that Wests would not be happy with.

Now, the next part of my comment suggests this may be eroding with the signing of SKD (Who wests were cautious in signing if news reports are to be trusted at all), and blair who is known as a grubby player who takes cheap shots. indicating that they may be willing to take Lodge on with his shady past.

Now if you don't mind, I have my perfect life in my pretend world to get back to.

Getting caught holding a bag a cocaine, getting arrested, fired from your NRL club for breach of contract, subsequent court case. Sure sounds like "incident" fairly sums it up. In fact I would have said "incident" was on the lenient side of wordage.

Maybe controversy, or calamity would have sufficed better?

I don't recall any report stating he was holding it for a mate, when did that come out, or was this just internet forum babbling? And if it came out from SKD himself, well, I guess that is exactly what he would say, along with virtually every other person caught by the cops with a bag a blow in the history of forever.

That doesn't mean he used it, or was going to. Who knows, that's between him and the Knights now.

Apologies for my posts above. Under a lot of stress at that time and not posting with a clear head. Anyway, gave myself a week ban to clear the head.

I'm back to annoy again. :)
 
I can't see Wayne letting him go. He loves his screw ups and would be part of the top squad after losing a few forwards already.
 
Forget Bennett, do we want him or need him, if he is so good why hasn't Bennett signed him to Broncos, we have enough very very good forwards from lots of good areas do we want another from a not so good area
 
Not sure if anyone caught it, but Buzz Rothfield said tonight on NRL 360 that the knights offered Lodge a 1.5 million dollar 3 year deal, yet he turned them down for close to a minimum wage contract at the Broncos. Certainly sounded a bit suss
 
500k for this thug? That’s pathetic. He shouldn’t even be back in the game the coward. Over this “second chance” business. Some just don’t deserve it. Glad he isn’t our problem.
