Barry Toohey says we're looking at signing Matt Lodge... will be a controversial one, but he's a very good young prop. Is his ability worth the risk?
 
Would not have thought he would suit the type of person brown wants at the club.

Though that stance may be eroding now we have signed SKD after cocaine incident and looking at grubby player Blair.
 
sounds like he took something while out of drug testing range.
doubt he'll do that again.

Except he has done it twice.
Did here why contracted with the tigers, then got stood down went over seas and did it again.
Guys a lose cannon away from the park and a princess on the park
 
Why take the risk, pass, rather keep Pauli or/and Stockwell. By the way what is happening with Starling J, is he still a chance to stay or has injury got him
 
i keep hearing Brown doesnt want to sign players who Wests wouldnt be happy with. EG players who would give the club a bad name. Lodge just seems to be exacty that imo. It would be a no from me!
 
We are trying to build a decent roster.
To do that we need to get some players who are prepared to play for less than they would otherwise be worth.
This is a guy who plays in a position we need to sign a few more, and we can get him for peanuts.
He is a 300k player we can get for 100k.

300k player? His playing qcup.
His worth 50k infact his worth nothing.

Hell no guy should be stamped never to play nrl again. Was he that good couldnt cut it regularly at his 2 nrl clubs could he?

Cocaine incident literally held the bag for a mate and copped his punishment whilst said mate let him and has been perfect for his 10 plus years in the nrl.

Everybody makes mistakes. SKD never had any in his system. It got thrown out of court so no conviction. Say again how It's a massive downfall? It isn't. Get over your PERFECT life and into the real world.
 
lurker reckons bennett is after matt lodge as well. probably a load of bull but if it's true, let him go to the bronco's!
