Billy
Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
The best forward in the Centurions IMO.
He is the son of former Knights assistant coach 'Barney' Miller (assistant under Warren Ryan at the Knights and several other clubs).
He won the Carlsen/Johns award as the best junior at the Knights.
He was the youngest player to play in our infamous 2006 Flegg side.
He represnted NSW at under 17s, 18s and 19s level (from the Knights still)
He was captain of Mathews, Ball and Flegg sides at the Knights.
He went to Melbourne and was captain of their first NYC side.
He played in a trial and as 18th man for Melbourne firstgrade on several occasions.
After an horrific leg injury that kept him out of the game for a year he played last season with the Central Coast Storm NSW cup side and captained the top of the table side for much of the season.
This year he signed for Cessnock, but has played all but a few games with the Centurions (due to leg injuries) - and has been close to the best on field every game.
He is an incredibly smart footballer with huge minutes in him at prop or lock. He is basically the rarest of all birds, a ball playing prop forward.
I think he is basically over his leg injuries and ready to make his mark in the top grade IMO.
He is basically a not quite as athletic but much smarter version of Chris Housten.
