I was just thinking, with Brian Carney leaving next season and of course Mick Hagan, what type of players would come to the club. Also I hope it never happens but when Joey Retires it will leave a massive amount of money to buy a few players. I wonder what Brian Smith has up his recruiting sleeve!!! Anybody interested too!!!
 
Yeah i want to know also what will happen next year. I hope that brian is a good coach and recruites great rugby league players
 
Well on yesterdays performance we will be looking for a halfback to replace Johns and play inside Mullen! Maybe we have some younger players earmarked to take over, who knows ...

Until Johns retires though, we got Carney on a pretty cheap contract, since he's joining Gold Coast next year ... so I don't think we'll be making any big signings for next year. Not that I know anything about anything :wink:
 
Yeh i think Jarrod Mullen is a future 5/8th and so is Kurt. When Joey retires I think we should use his money and get a valuble Halfback. I heard that with Brian leavin Parra he will bring some close players like dean widders with him but i also heard the oppisite Mick Hagan will take sum with him. Didnt Tahu leave coz Hages wanted him on the wing. How are they gonna get along!!!
 
Yeah, will be interesting to see what Tahu does. He was quoted (when it was still speculation that Hagan was going to Parra) that he wouldn't be happy about it, the reason he left Newcastle was coz Hagan never played him at centre.

It'd be great if he left Parra and came back here, but really, I don't think we could afford him. :cry:

Yeah I think Tahu wont be happy but I think Hages when he goes to Parra lets him play in the centres all we be ok. But when he leaves he wont be apart of our club anymore and so I know we cant really care if they fight at Parra. If you know what I mean!!!
