I’m not really keen on this one to be honest. Hodgeson at fullback in 2023 then pryce in 2024 would be better squad management in my opinion. Not sure we need a 31 year old rugby convert on good coin learning to play centre in 2025. $400k for Klemmer to play at tigers and losing Bradbury also a worry imo.

He’s 28. Miller is a good buy IMO. Yeah a bit of a risk but more of a risk putting all the eggs into the Hodgson basket. He think Miller at least is a good depth signing. If the kid (Hodgson) is killing it in NSW cup then he will get his shot.

it’s to cover injuries. If hodgo (when hodgo) gets injured we have no one good to replace.

Miller gives us good solid options. It was a smart buy from the club. Zero doubt about it.

Miller could be used as a back-up half or 5/8 in future years, we still don’t have a lot of quality depth in the halves. If 2 or 3 our halves were injured or not preforming, Miller could be given a go in the halves.

As has been pointed out before, he was listed of the Sharks website as a half.

We will have a good attacking option apart from Ponga. Our attack should be much better.

I think who ever wrote this doesn't like O'Brien and a massive overs call on Bradbury calling him a 10 year player in the NRL half the people haven't even heard of him he is no Payne Hass or Tino that everybody heard of before they debut at a early age and I honestly think we will be around the 8 if we have some luck we injuries so thinking a NRL coach trying to win now is what he should be doing

Yeah the guy acts like getting picked for junior rep teams guarantees a 10 year NRL career. But if you look back at the 18’s and 20’s Origin teams over the last decade, you’ll see way more guys who did nothing in first grade than long-term NRL players.

If we had traded oryn Keely then I can get the on board the hysteria about letting our future go cause he looks likely to crack NRL sooner rather than later and has had a bit of hype around him and in a position that we lack in good depth in but someone that is way down the pecking order which I think we got some talent in that position already in around they same progression as him think it was a good deal to do

Bradbury is an unknown because he has grown very differently than expected.
In under 16s we had the best forward pack in Mathews by a mile, providing 5 forwards to the NSW side, and Bradbury was head and shoulders above all the others and got MOTM for NSW, so i'd say unchallenged as the best forward under 16 in the state.
But he was a reasonably slim, very athletic, very mobile, second rower, but still hard as nails and with a high workrate. Basically a young Boyd Cordner.
He has packed on a lot of size and lost a lot of his athleticism. He is still as hard as nails and has a high workrate and a great attitude, but his body has grown into a chunky, plodding props body, not an athletic second rowers body.
I still think he'll have a very good career, but not the one he could have had if he'd grown up rather than out.
