Just my opinion but i dont think we had a losing mindset i think we just had a young inexperienced side who werent ready for first grade yet even they're bodies weren't fit enough or hard enough for first grade but i think they showed heart and tried hard and i dont believe that is a losing mindset ...

He's a good player no doubt and I expect a big improvement from him. If we don't see it in 2017 he'll have to go.

I'd put it down to the same thing I seen with Korbs. Brown wanting the kids to take up the fight as the yr was a loss from the beginning anyway

Carney has been on the blow and grog hard for what 2 years in France. His done.
 
If Carney would submit to drug and alcohol testing 3 times a day and travel at all times with 3 coppers I'd take him.

Sandow aside from a quick turn of speed which he probably no longer has, has nothing.

Even better than Bath's Babes and last to first, George Piggins in about '92/3 coached the Rabbitohs from minor Premiers, to wooden spoon next year. Now that was inconsistency. We must start a poll closer to season start on where we think our team will finish in 2017. For mine twelfth would be a huge leg up.

A improvement would be to not get blown off the park by 30+ points every week.

If the team cuts 150+ pts from last seasons Against I'd be happy... Mind u that would still be a 650pts against season which is shocking!!! but a huge improvement.
 
every year there's a surprise team that punches above their weight.

Mullen stays fit and healthy, Saifiti's a year older and stronger, Sione first pre season in the backrow bigger and stronger, Barnett first pre season with the team, some solid new additions to the pack, a couple of first grade standard wingers added, Stockwell out to prove something, Levi over his back complaint...... there are quite a few positives heading into next season.and with some luck with injuries we may well surprise a few teams next year
 
Elvis eight 'ifs' is a few ifs too many. Every time I hope for players missing from opposition times, we get the injuries so don't wish for that!
 
We showed some of the power house sides last season what we could do for 50 to 60 min in a game and scared some of those teams .
The side looks to be quite a bit fitter already so if fittness is not a worry this season then we will scare and beat those teams IF we can keep players on the paddock.
Being fitter will give them more chance of staying on the paddock as you definatly get more injuries if your not fit ..
When I look at the side now it looks to be an improvement and they look to be improving and that will do me I'm happy with that ....
 
Ethan mate do u honestly think we trouble any of the top 6 teams? Or do u think they didn't turn up fully prepared like they would for a hard game!

I think they would have been turning up for sure it would be pretty embarrassing to lose to us last year and the two competition points are two valuable not to turn up ready to play.
 
Yes I do think they turned up to play against us and we did show what we can do just not for long enough because we weren't fit enough and didn't have the experience we needed .
Even when they gave they're all and tried they're hardest and showed that they could play good footy straight away you think the other team didn't turn up its still all just a negative to you mate ...
Also if any team didn't turn up against us then they should sack they're coach because his job is to make sure they play they're hardest and best for 26 rounds ....
