Knights sign Edrick Lee for 3 years

I don’t think this signing has any impact on us going after fergo, why not have to many first graders then not enough? Good solid signing and finally someone with some athleticism who can finish off ponga magic on that left side. Surely it spells the end for sio. Also if we get Ferguson on the right wing outside of ramien we have two great leaping threats which we haven’t had in who knows how long. Great astute signing from Mooney and brown
 
Would not complain at all with Lee and Fergo on the wings.

But still hoping a good prop becomes available.
 
There was literally no demand for Ross unless he wanted to take a good ESL offer. I think Brown and mooney were smart enough not to offer a serious upgrade in $$$ to a fringe first grader.
Still a good deal for us to have him cheap and be in first grade when needed.
 
Edrick Lee, that came out of nowhere, at worst a good backup player, a lot depending on other things, Moga fitness, Ferguson signing, Sione forwards or backs. We do need better quality in reserve grade to maintain a quality top 17.
 
Solid depth/NRL signing. Has flourished this year at Cronulla under Flanagan and has a good combination with Ramien. Also making 112 metres on average a game, is a good leaper and another big body in the backline. Don’t see this as having an impact on signing Ferguson despite the length of the deal but at least we’d have decent replacements regarding injury/rep selections nonetheless. Ponga, SKD, Moga, Lee, Ramien, Ferguson(?), Sione (if not moved), Ross, Denniss, Sio, Hughes, Naden, Musgrove gives us a bit to choose from if sh*t hits the fan.
 
Nrl site says Lee has
10 offloads, pretty good for a winger.
7 tries, in 11 games this year.
132 meters per game from 14 carries.

Id say we got a good player on a good deal.

His Career stats are pretty good, Few more Line breaks wouldn't hurt but yeah pretty good overall

He does have 9 line breaks this year which is the most he has had in 1 season

Has averaged 100m+ in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and now 2018

Think he will play outside Ramien who had a lot to do with Edrich following him here to continue their partnership.

Either way Skd or Fergo at centre with Ramien and Lee the other side would be a good backline although I would still like to see Moga there he was just starting to come good and at his best the guy is devastating ..By the start of next season Moga should be as healthy as he can be and had a full preseason under his belt ...Imo Moga would be the go with Fergo outside him they would be unstoppable .

A few in this section have mentioned Lee and Ramiens combination. From what i have seen they havent played many, if any games on the same side of the field. Sione Katoa has been playing outside Ramien.
