I think Bedsy, Cuthbertson and McKinnon should be our last signings. About a third of our top squad are leaving and at this point we've only signed 3 known first graders (I know 2 of them are on big contracts but it's still not enough) so of course there was always going to be more players coming in and I have no doubt we have the cap space to accommodate them plus still have a little bit left over and put away to sign someone like Daine Laurie if injuries become a problem for us again next season.

Henry, Taufua, Southern, Lulia, De Gois, Paterson, Ciraldo, McDonnell very possibly more not to mention Newcastle have now learnt how to use 3rd party properly

Our first choice backrowers are Costigan, Houston, Edwards, Hilder, Taia who all should be in the top 17.. if one of those gets injured who comes in that is better than Cuthbertson? I know I'd rather Cuthbertson over Filipo, O'Donnell or anyone else in the NSW/Toyota Cup. Tetevano is a great young player, I forgot about him but still, Cuthbertson would be a very good signing.

all of them are probably worth Boyd and Snowden, 3rd party I spose but how sus is it! we are buying everyone.
Kurt Gidley may have had his contract restructured to allow more room under the cap too, so there's another possible way of freeing up cash.
RLW (The mole) posted a tweet moments ago saying we are close to signing another big name.
If its Cuthbertson I dont really consider him a big name (seems like thats the closest big name we look like signing)
But with some players gone it wouldnt surprise me if it was another big name.
On second thoughts Buderus would be more likely even though the news on him has fizzled down a bit. Maybe we've made it work?

He'd play as a prop, no doubt.
What about Siuatonga Likiliki? I know he is a center but he is massive and I think he would fit very nicely into the back row.
