Knights Injury and Suspension Updates

If Brailey could find a miracle cure, that would give us a shot I think.

His been running freely for about a month, that being said I'd rather him fit and firing for next year unless we can somehow look like jagging a top 4 finish in that case his worth a gambit.

Looking at photos from the Knights' latest training session and Glasby is having a run. Not sure if it's just to keep his fitness up but would be a big boost for us if he's able to play again (obviously not this week, but some time in the future).

I'd love him to be fit for next year, guys not exactly huge on the field but you can tell he adds a lot to our culture.

Glasby looks very skinny in the training photos. If he is training to play, i'd say he is aiming to get back his bulk and fitness for the finals if we make it.

Best had his operation on Tuesday, but the quote in the herald article is "from all reports the doctor didn't have to do as much work as he thought he might".
Sione had the same injury, but the report for him was that it was worse than thought and they said about 6 weeks - so maybe Best will be a lot less than 6 weeks.

He was pretty handy with his second phase play, him & Klemmer were really keeping the attack flowing for a while. Would be nice to get someone with a bit of second phase in them if he has to retire.

In all seriousness, I do hope Glasby's situation is improving but I also hope he doesn't come back without a clean bill of health on the concussions - life is too short to be risking your quality of life post football.

I know it seems that Sione has been managed well since his earlier problems, so the club seems to have the protocols and processes right to make sure his welfare is paramount.

I do hope he is good to go and doesn't succumb to any further concussions but this length of stay out of the game because of the prolonged length of symptoms he's been having is an early risk indicator that can't be ignored either.

This is very interesting reading. Maybe we’ve been abit harsh on the team about their inconsistency?

Brailey went early. Spines been pretty much the same since. They run the game. Anyone who steps in should do a job. Giving them nothing.

It will be interesting to see if Brodie Jones or Jack Johns get that bench spot.
Johns seems to be getting a lot of love in the training photos.

unless they change the rules Jack won’t be available till after June 30th unless they promote him
