Hi guys, from a Warriors perspective the word is he is going nowhere, he has backed that up himself. We are all a bit baffled by how he is being used, especially as we have a two forward, one Utility, one Back bench now. Personally I would have him on the Wing changing up with Fusitua in game.
The real reason I have come on your site is there is a lot of our fans wanting a Supercoach, Bennet being mentioned a lot. I would be interested in your opinion of Bennet and what he did (or didn't) for the Knights

Bennett was terrible at the Knights, but I think he would be perfect for the Warriors.
The one thing that would make it hard for him is that he doesn't seem to rate pacific islander players. He sacked most of ours in his first year here.
It's not a racism thing. He seems to really like Aboriginal and even Melanesian players - just not a fan of Polynesians by his record.

Not to sound arrogant, but Bennett like players that think about the game, islanders love the toughness and aggressive footy, bennett is a chess board looking for chess players

Thanks guys. Interesting about the Polynesian thing. Over here it is generally accepted that he was vital when the Kiwis won the World Cup. I know he left your Club in poor shape, we can do that on our own.
Polynesian players are vital to the Warriors, Auckland is the biggest Polynesian city, in fact there is criticism that they ignore the rest of NZ where there are regions where the Sharks and Storm are the proactive clubs. There are very few Maori in the Warriors, let alone Caucasians.
There has been an under current of poor application/discipline for a long time. McFadden has actually done quite well IMO except for his Bench selection and use. Is that enough, word is he has to make the 8, and to be safe top 6.

Hi Watcher just wanted to ask if the Knights fan base over there is like it used to be . In our early days we had a large fan base there and we got a lot of good players from NZ . I remember someone saying once that New Zealanders saw the Knights as a way into the ARL in them days , now a days every club looks at players there . I was just wondering if we still had that core of supporters or not .
As far as things go with Bull Sxxt Benny he is a great coach when he has a team of champions and imo the biggest problem we had was the money he was offered if he won a comp. He tried to buy the players to win quickly it didn't work and we lost a lot of good young players in the process and we are paying for it now as we have to blood new young guys when the guys we lost would have been good 1st graders here now and we had to get rid off the guys he bought ...
When Arguably the best Rugby League coach in the world says he doesn't have anyone in reserve grade to replace the non performing 1st graders ....Then you know that coach hasn't done his job and hasn't done the right thing by the club ....He also said he had no idea why the players were;nt playing well , if the coach says that imo time for him to go ...
He seemed angry here all the time and I guess when the players he bought didn't get the team into the 8 he lost a load of cash and when they didn't get into the 4 he lost a lot more and not winning the comp while he was here cost him potentially a mill a year ....I Hate the guy would have stuck something sharp through his eye if I could have got away with it lol , instead I settled for pixxing on his book and throwing it in the fire pit .....
