I thought he was very close to the best prop in NYC at the end of 2009, which was a big call because he was 18.
Last year he looked maybe 10kg overweight in the pre season trials, and he struggled along with the Centurions till halfway through the season when he seemed to get on top of his fitness and forced his way into a starting spot with the Centurions, and finally got a run in NYC near the end of the season.
I've heard he is injured after a good start to the off season, which is a shame, because the big guy obviously struggles to get fit, and missing most of the off season is bad news for him.
He has a lot of ability and is the right size to go on with it if he can get fit enough, and with the loss of Cordner, Wilson and Finn (our best props last year), there is definately a vacancy for him to fill.
